DEXTools News is the editorial publication of DEXTools, the on-chain analytics platform used by millions of crypto traders. Our newsroom operates with editorial independence: coverage decisions are made on news merit and reader value, not directed by commercial interests, advertisers, or any token project. Sponsored content is clearly labelled and kept separate from editorial reporting. This page explains how we work, who writes for us, and the standards we hold ourselves to.
Our reporting is built first on primary sources and on DEXTools proprietary on-chain data, the same live market, liquidity, and token-safety data that powers our tools. Wherever possible we verify claims directly on-chain rather than relying on second-hand summaries. When we cite external reporting, security firms, or market data, we name the source and link to it so readers can check it themselves. For developing stories we distinguish clearly between what is confirmed, what is estimated, and what is still unverified.
Articles are produced and reviewed by our editorial team with human oversight and fact-checking before publication. For security incidents, exploits, and figures such as losses or token movements, we attribute estimates to the firms or analysts that produced them and avoid presenting unverified numbers as established fact. Headlines and summaries are written to match the body of the article, not to overstate it. If a key fact cannot be confirmed, we either omit it or clearly label it as unverified.
Every article carries a named byline that links to a dedicated author page listing the writer focus areas and published work. Our contributors specialise across decentralized finance, on-chain analysis, memecoins and new token launches, token safety, decentralized exchanges, and crypto market structure. Author profiles describe the topics each writer covers and link to their public profiles where available, so readers can judge the experience behind the reporting.
We use automation and data tooling to surface on-chain signals, monitor markets, and assist with research and drafting, but every published article is subject to human editorial judgement, review, and fact-checking. We do not publish unreviewed machine-generated content, and editorial responsibility for everything we publish rests with our team.
We correct errors promptly and transparently. When an article is materially corrected after publication we update it and note the change, and the article modified date reflects the update. Minor typographical fixes may be made without a note. If you believe something we published is inaccurate, please tell us through our contact page and we will review it quickly.
Our contributors avoid and disclose conflicts of interest. We do not accept payment to cover, omit, promote, or slant editorial coverage of any specific token or project, and we do not take gifts in exchange for coverage. Writers disclose relevant holdings where they could create a conflict, and any affiliate or sponsored arrangement is labelled as such. Editorial coverage is never a paid placement.
DEXTools News carries advertising, and any sponsored or partner content is clearly identified as such and kept visually and editorially separate from our independent reporting. Advertisers have no influence over editorial coverage, conclusions, or which stories we choose to run.
Nothing we publish is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Cryptocurrencies and DeFi are volatile and high-risk, and prices can go to zero. Our coverage is informational and educational only. Always do your own research and consider speaking to a licensed professional before making financial decisions.
