Coinbase Launches 21 Products: Tokenized Stocks, SEC-Registered AI Advisor, BTC Mortgages

Coinbase unveiled roughly 21 new products in a single release on June 16, 2026, expanding beyond crypto into stocks, an SEC-registered AI advisor, tokenized equities, and Bitcoin-backed mortgages.

Coinbase unveiled roughly 21 new products in a single release on June 16, 2026, pushing well beyond crypto trading into stocks, AI-driven advice, derivatives, and lending as it positions itself as an "everything exchange," according to reporting from Unchained and Bitcoin.com.

Stocks, ETFs and an SEC-registered AI advisor

US users gained commission-free trading of stocks, ETFs and indexes through Coinbase Advanced. The company also launched Coinbase Advisor, an SEC-registered, AI-driven investment advisory available to US Coinbase One subscribers, and Coinbase for Agents, which lets users delegate portfolio actions to an AI agent within preset limits.

Tokenized stocks, with a US caveat

Coinbase said tokenized US stocks will roll out to non-US customers next month, backed one-to-one by the underlying shares with dividend payouts and shareholder rights, and usable as collateral or lent out for yield. US customers are excluded under current regulatory disclosures.

The "everything exchange" push

The release also spanned Bitcoin-backed mortgages, options contracts, travel rewards and agentic finance, part of a broader bid to "power your entire financial life," the company said. The move accelerates the convergence of crypto platforms and traditional finance, and raises the competitive bar for rivals.
